The Washington State History Museum and the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center at The Evergreen State College will present the fifth annual In the Spirit: Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival, August 7 and 8, 2010. All outdoors festival activities are FREE and open to the public.

The Native Arts Market and Festival features some of the best Native artists in the region selling exquisite artworks. Guests can catch performances of Native singers, musicians, and dance groups throughout the weekend.

June 17 - September 19, 2010

This juried art exhibit showcases the work of contemporary Native American artists. Guests will see how today’s Native art connects traditional artistic heritage and contemporary forms of expression. The featured artwork was selected by a jury comprised of local experts in Native American art.
