In the Spirit: Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

10:00 a.m.

Welcome
Blessing by Leonard Forsman, chairman of the Suquamish Tribe

10:30 a.m.

Alaska Kuteeyaa Dancers, a group of Alaska natives living in the Puget Sound area, performs Haida, Muckleshoot, and Quileute songs and dances.

12:00 p.m.

Sngagim Axasniikangin (Dream Dancers), the only Aleut dance group outside the state of Alaska.

1:30 p.m.

Chenoa Egawa, Lummi and S’Klallam singer, songwriter, and performance artist.

3:00 p.m.

Northern Star, a troupe of Alaska natives living in the Puget Sound area, performs songs and dances from the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian tribes wearing traditional regalia.

4:30 p.m.

The House of Welcome Dancers.

6:00 p.m.

Rona Yellow Robe, Chippewa Cree of Rocky Boy Indian Reservation in Montana, performs Native American flute music.
