Inscription notes that these were guests at the home of Duane and Margaret Terry of Olympia, WA, Thurston County, on New Year's Eve around 1902. Identities are provided on reverse and in the subject field of this record. The guests were mostly or all members of First Presbyterian Church, including Mrs. Terry's father Richard Hayes, who was pastor of the church. The group are posing in about four rows, with the first row sitting on the carpeted floor and the second row seated. The wall behind them has a window with curtains. Mr. Terry died by drowning in 1904.
