Four men stand outside the front of the confectionery. Hockey games were played in the Seattle Arena from 1915-1924.

Description: Black and white, glass plate negative image of the Seattle, King County, WA offices of the A.L. Brown Farm, which is located in Nisqually, WA, taken Jan. 1916. The view is looking through one room, with 2 rolltop desks, a swivel chair, and a table against the wall, to another room in the background in which only a chair is visible. The room in the foreground has a telephone on one desk, and ledgers stacked on the table against one wall. A cabinet with open doors against the rear wall displays objects which are indistinguishable. An Oriental rug covers the floor. Eight stuffed bird specimens are displayed on a wall shelf on 2 sides of the room, and 5 stuffed birds hang against these walls from hooks near the ceiling. The birds' plumage pattern is distinguishable. Many small pictures, some apparently of farm operations, cover the visible walls of the room.

Businesses in a 2 storey frame building, from left to right: The Walker Portrait and Picture Frame Co., at the corner with the sign on the unfurled awning; Delmonico Oyster & Chop House, advertising hot waffles for 15 cents and oysters any style for 25 cents; New and Second Hand Goods Bought, Sold, and Exchanged; The Washington, Furnished Rooms, above a small entrance. A horse drawn delivery wagon is in front of the second hand store. This building is the site of the future Federal Building.

Description: Photograph of Seattle, W.T.'s celebration of Henry Villard's arrival and the completion of the Northern Pacific Railway. In the foreground is a wide unpaved streeet, identified as Third Avenue. Proceeding down the street is a parade of logging oxen, with their teamsters standing alongside them. Two small children and dog stand next to one of the oxen. A crowd of spectators is standing, watching the parade. About halfway down the street is a triumphal arch, decked with greens and a banner. This arches over University Street, and the Territorial University building is at the top of a hill, decked with garlands.
