All schools must bring one adult chaperone for every five students participating in the visit. Classroom teachers are not included in the 1-to-5 ratio.

Length of stay:

(Allow at least 2 1/2 - 3 hours for your visit.)
In order to have time for a scheduled lunch time, it usually is necessary to stay the entire 3 hours during high volume days in the spring. If you are using a district bus, please check to see when the bus must be back in the district.

In 1-2 sentences, introduce your group to us, including any special needs, abilities, or interests, and/or what makes your class unique.

What is your goal for your visit to the History Museum? (optional)

Will your group be eating lunch during your visit?

Please select your mode of transportation:

We have two lunch spaces for groups who bring their lunches. Each seats 30 people. The staff schedules lunch times for your field trip one week prior to your visit. Lunch is 20 minutes long and is based on arrival times and the number of students per arrival. That information will be emailed to all email addresses provided on this form.

In good weather we recommend eating lunch in our 200-seat outdoor amphitheater. There is a place to store lunches in the Education Center—please do not leave lunches in cars or buses. We recommend that you place your lunches in boxes clearly marked with the class teacher's name.

STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND CHAPERONES ARE REQUIRED TO STAY ON MUSEUM PREMISES AT ALL TIMES DURING THE VISIT.

Additional Questions or Comments:

Please be prepared to bring an accurate head count and payment details on the day of your visit. Review our teacher checklist for more information.
