Where? Washington State History Museum, 1911 Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma
Why? Educator Night at the Museum is an exciting opportunity for area educators to relax and mingle while learning more about the resources and programs offered by prominent organizations in the Puget Sound area. Discover engaging, innovative, standards-based ways to bring the arts, social studies, science and other subjects into your classroom or to bring your students out into the community!
How? Ride the Link light rail! Park for free at the Tacoma Dome Station and catch the free Link train into downtown. Ride a bus! Learn more about Pierce Transit at www.piercetransit.org. Parking is also available at the History Museum, beginning at the rate of $4 for 0-2 hours and in the museum district (prices vary).

Tacoma’s Museum District brings you creative new ways to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics into your classroom. Educators from America’s Car Museum, Children’s Museum of Tacoma, Foss Waterway Seaport, Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum and the Washington State History Museum provide engaging, hands-on workshops for both primary and secondary teachers.
