Kids' Maker Market
Third Thursday, August 16, 4:00-7:00 PM
$10.00 table rental fee for market vendors (ages 4-18)
FREE for visitors
Entrepreneurial makers ages 4-18 are invited to bring their hand-crafted items to sell at a special Kids Maker Market, inspired by the exhibition Make/Do: A History of Creative Reuse (on view July 14-Dec. 6). The Kids Maker Market will be held on Free Third Thursday August 16 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Kids can rent tables for $10 to sell their handmade wares. This is an opportunity for youth to experience the creative process, bring their ideas to life, and exercise business skills on a small scale. Visitors can enjoy snacks while they shop and also make something of their own at a craft table facilitated by Tinkertopia.
Local maker Allison Stewart Bishins of Handmade PNW is organizing this event for the History Museum. Interested artists and makers can apply here. Questions? Please email Allison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
