The historic Lord Mansion, designed in Spanish Colonial villa style, has been renovated and offers attractive office space. Formerly operated as a small history museum in the state's capital, it was not cost effective to renovate the building to meet current national museum standards for art and artifact display and preservation. The Historical Society worked with the State of Washington to achieve a solution that spotlights the building's historic qualities and provides a beneficial use.
