History After Hours: Ages 21+ Evening Events

Experience a night at the museum just for grown-ups! History After Hours programs are for ages 21+ and include access to the exhibitions, plus special activities, crafts, tasty beverages, and other shennanigans. Buy your tickets in advance or at the door. We also offer 4-pack price for 2019!

2019 History After Hours line-up:

  • February 7 - Candy Bar - Washington's most delicious treats paired with Washington wines and craft beer. (This event has passed)
  • May 9 - (In)Famous Washington - Famous people and happenings from our past! Specialty brews!
  • October 10 - Washington In Spaaace - See A New Moon Rises and learn about our state's innovations in the space race while you nibble and sip. Tickets here.
  • December 5 - Bootleggers' Ball - Celebrate the day that Prohibition was repealed! Tickets here.

Admission is just $15 for members! For non-members, tickets are $20 advance and $25 at the door. Admission includes drink tickets, access to the museum's exhibitions, a souvenir stemless wine glass, and all of the awesome programming and crafts you can imagine. Be sure to get your tickets TODAY!

Celebrate Repeal Day at Washington State History Museum’s own version of a speakeasy, The Blind Marmot. Drink from your very own History After Hours glass and be merry with tunes provided by The Happy Sinners. Just be sure you don’t get caught by the fuzz in the bootleggers’ obstacle course. Steve Edmiston will spin a yarn on the infamous northwest rumrunner Roy Olmstead.
