Station Camp Waterfront Park Plans Progress
November 15, 2005 marks the bicentennial of Lewis and Clark's Corps of
Discovery encampment at Station Camp. Upon arrival at this site, members
of the Corps of Discovery knew they had accomplished the mission set for
them by President Thomas Jefferson, Expedition member, Sergeant Patrick
Gass, wrote: "we've reached the end of our voyage."

Lewis and Clark Painting Series Unveiled at WSHM
Washington State History Museum hosted the official unveiling of the Lewis and Clark series by artist Michael Haynes. This group of five paintings was commissioned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and depicts scenes from the journey of Lewis and Clark that exemplify the Corps of Discovery as a military enterprise.
