NEW FREE THURSDAY EVENING HOURS AT THE WASHINGTON STATE HISTORY MUSEUM

TACOMA – Feb.10 – Beginning March 1, the Washington State History Museum will offer FREE admission every third Thursday from 2-8 p.m. This will replace the current free admission Thursday offer, 5-8 p.m. every Thursday.

This updated schedule more closely reflects Tacoma’s Third Thursday Art Walk, making the Museum District more uniform.

Washington State History Museum operating hours beginning March 1:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.*
Friday - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday - Noon - 5 p.m.
*Every third Thursday the Museum will be open 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. with FREE admission from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The Washington State History Museum, flagship of the Washington State Historical Society, is located at 1911 Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma, just off 1-5. HOURS - Wednesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., with extended hours and FREE admission every third Thursday from 2 - 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

ADMISSION -
$8 for adults; $7 for seniors, age 60 and above; $6 for students and military with valid ID; children, age 5 and below, and members are always FREE.
