FREE ONLINE events and activities

Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through the arts! On January 17, we’ll add links for the activities below:

  • Watch Living Voices perform “The Right To Dream” in an online video.
  • Explore an online exhibit about Dr. King’s visit to Washington 60 years ago (in 1961).
  • Watch and participate in a pre-recorded art-making activity inspired by Dr. King’s visit. Artist Valencia Carroll will provide an art-making video guide, and you can make your own piece. We’d love to see your work, you can send photos to us to share out (instructions in video).
