Every Saturday, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
Different themes every month!
Families can participate in themed, self-guided activities at the History Museum every Saturday of the month! Each month will feature a different focus that lets you do the work of history, collaboratively! We’ll provide a handout with prompts and ideas; you bring your family, curiosity, and time to explore!Download the Guide
April theme: What makes a place matter? Explore people’s relationships to places throughout Washington State, and reflect on your own special places.
May theme: What does it mean to be part of a community? Think about the communities you are part of, and discover what “community” has meant to different people throughout the history of Washington State.
June theme: How do ideas spread? Think about an idea that is important to you, and investigate how all kinds of ideas (past and present!) have traveled across Washington State and beyond.
