The Washington State History Museum is open for visitors Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors who are not fully vaccinated for COVID are required to wear a mask while in the museum.

Heritage Capital Projects (HCP) supports facilities that provide public access to history.

Since 1995, HCP has distributed more than $80 million in capital grants to support more than 300 community history facilities and historic landscapes. Washington nonprofits, tribal organizations, local governments, ports, and public development authorities are eligible to apply.

  1. Each team member should register as a separate user under their own email.
  2. It may take up to 3 business days to process a user registration.
  3. Users will receive an email with a link to set their account password after HCP staff have reviewed and approved each user registration.

Progress Update

The application period for the 2021-2023 biennium is now closed. The advisory panel held a public meeting via Zoom on August 10th to review and rank the 40 applications that passed eligibility and submitted a Phase II application.
