A classroom field trip to the History Museum allows students to connect the past with the present in a meaningful way, and can create lasting impressions and help forge a common bond among people in our region.
Each year, the museum serves more than 15,000 schoolchildren through on-site visits. We utilize a sliding scale admission price for student field trips, but the cost of attendance and round trip bus transportation can be prohibitive for some schools even with these discounts. Please join us in supporting access for all students in our state!Donate Today
Your generosity will make it possible for these schools to bring students to the History Museum free of charge!
Here’s how you can help:
- $15 will provide one student with a chance be amazed by the stories in the Great Hall of Washington History, possibly for the first time ever!
- $75 will pay for five students to experience the History Lab together, and dive deep into examining artifacts and ephemera to learn the tools of the history trade.
- $150 provides for ten students to learn about and see the actual tools made by the Clovis people in Washington over 12,000 years ago.
- $420 brings an entire class to the museum, adding a new exciting dimension to their classroom studies.
We truly appreciate your investment in the students of Washington State. Please join us this year to bring engaging, hands-on history education to even more students. Thank you!
