The image shows a covered walkway on the right which leads straight to one building of the resort while another covered walkway branches off to the left and leads to another building. Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort was built by timber baron, Michael Earles and opened on May 15, 1912. The resort burned down on May 26, 1916. Asahel Curtis
