[Golden Apple award]

Brass apple sculpture presented as award by KCTS public television station, January 16, 1985, to Washington State Governor Booth Gardner's administration for excellence in teaching and leadership. Made of brass, gold in color. Cast leaf and stem fixed to molded and polished body of apple. Round, thin, black rubber protector glued to bottom of apple base. Engraved on apple: GARDNER ADMINISTRATION/ JANUARY 16,1985
