Officer gold-color insignia (U.S. Eagle with shield on its chest, arrows in left claw & laurel leaves in right claw). Over its head is disc with 13 stars. Hat is lined with yellow satin-like rayon. Clear plastic in the crown. Light brown leather sweat band with print, "bancroft". Printed inside: Bancroft Miitary Caps Framingham Mass. Size 6 7/8. U.S. Army Aprroved Cert.No.1-089-b. Printed on removable label: This Bancroft Belongs To Lt. P. T. Harrison. b) Near square hatbox made of off-white cardboard. Printed on lid: Bancroft Military Headwear (in circle around silouhette of 3 heads in military hats). One end shows the size.     U.S. Army green cotton fatigue pants worn for work detail. Patch pockets with button flap in back. Green plastic buttons fasten fly and waist. Belt loops on waist. Two inch x 1 inch strip of fabric with button hole is sewn on to each side of the waistband. When buttoned to the button seewn to the waist band the size is adjusted slightly. Two white paper-like labels sewn to the inside waistband. Belt loops on waistband.

    U.S. Army olive green cotton fatigue trousers with large green plastic buttons to close the fly and the waistband. In the back are large patch pockets with flaps which button. On each side of the waist band are 2 in. by 1 in. strips of cotton with buttonholes. To adjust waist size they button over a large button .5 inch away. Two white paper-like labels sewn to the inside waist band and 1 narrow white fabric-like label taped on the inside waistband near the front. Labels are more worn and faded. Belt loops on outside waistband.

    U.S. Army officer's double breasted rain coat (a) with belt (b) and silver-colored captain's bars (c) on both shoulders. The fabric appears to be synthetic fabric. Coat has button down shoulder loops for placement of rank insignia, eyelets under arms, sleeve straps at the wrists, and pockets which allow access to trouser pockets. The buttons and belt buckle are gray plastic. Pleat in the back skirt. Captain's bars are silver-colored and pinned to both shoulder-loops.

    a) U.S. Army officer's light tan summer wool Class A uniform blouse (jacket). Large regulation gold-color metal buttons with U.S. Seal in relief backed with small plastic buttons. Buttoned flap breast pockets with small regulation buttons. Large flap pockets with buttons below the waist. Light tan braid around sleeves 3in. above hem. Blouse fully lined and area which covers upper chest is quilted. Epaulets button down next to collar. Large white & brown label inside & above opening of inside flap pocket. Above this label on separate labels are the embroidered initials, "PH". Inside the pocket is a red/ white label with owner's name and a white manufacturing label. b) Light tan Army officer summer wool uniform trousers. Zipper and button closing. White label with red lettering inside waist and white manufacturing label. In addition to usual pockets there is also a watch pocket. A strip of non-slip fabric sewn inside waist.
