    Match safe made by J.B. Morgan, Davenport, IA, ca. 1890-1891. Made of brass with silver or nickel plating on surface, rectangular in shape with curved corners. One side has hinge near center. A button on the side allows the hinged lid to open. Attached to inside of lid is a rectangular piece of sandpaper. Fitted into the base of the box is paper label noting manufacturer name, owner and (probable) purchase date. No surface decoration.

    Drill cap for firemaking kit, Arctic culture area / Eskimo, 19th century. Made of curved piece of brown wood that tapers toward either end. Ends are oval in shape and cut straight. Carved onto either side below curve is a hollowed area. On either end and on opposite sides is a large drilled hole. On other side is a smaller hole. One side has a second small hole. Set into top of curved area is black/green stone that is oval shaped. At center is round drilled hole.
