    Photograph of a haying crew, identified as on Judge Kennedy's farm, Kamilche, WA, Mason County. A team of two white horses is pulling a hay rake. A girl dressed in white is sitting astride one of the horses, another girl, and a young man, are sitting atop the high wooden wheels of the hay rake. Three other men are behind the hay rake. Two are holding rakes, and one is sitting on the ground holding two dogs. To the right of the image is a wheeled motorized vehicle, possibly a very old motorized tractor. Hay ricks are surrounding the party. Trees can be seen in the distance.

    photographic print, Shelton Washington street parade float showing a replica of a historic logging spool donkey engine, float was constructed by Simpson Logging Company for the Mason County Centennial Celebration in 1953. Two men (loggers) pose on top of the float which is being drawn by a partially visible trailer holding large logs. A large sign attached to the float base reads: "Dolbeer Spool Donkey introduced in early 1890's - was first steam donkey used in logging" A large crowd of men, women and children of varying ages are present and residential houses and automobiles are visible in the back ground. One woman in the crowd appears to be smoking a cigarette.
