    Original, hand drafted map of Grays Harbor, depicting the southwestern portion of the Olympic Peninsula from Southbend to the Queets River. The map also depicts the area east to Puget Sound, from Seattle to Chehalis. Towns, railroads (logging and major lines), rivers, and major roads are shown. The map was most likely designed to promote the development of the Port of Grays Harbor, by featuring the major transportation routes (railroads and automotive) linking the Grays Harbor Area with Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest. Inscription at lower right corner reads: :"Drawing no. 100, A-4-39".
