    Advertising banner for WSHS exhibit, Detectives on Everest: The 2001 Mallory & Irvine Research Expedition, Sept. 7, 2002-Apr. 6, 2003. Made of long strip of vinyl, folded at upper end and fused together at lower end. Both sides identical in design with blowup color photo of two contemporary mountaing climbers (Eric Simonson? and another) shown high on Mt. Everest with snow and boulders behind them. In front are numerous orange oxygen tanks and other articles from earlier mountaineering expeditions on Mt. Everest. Standing figure dressed in red suit with green sleeves. Seated figure dressed in dark blue clothing. Blue sky above has large white lettering of title. Lower section has smaller white lettering set against an orange background. Vinyl has light checked/linear pattern due to manufacture (visible on unused interior).
