    Ceremonial hat (a) used by IOOF/Rebekahs for unknown ceremony, ca. 1890-1930? With loose piece (b). Round, made of red satin (silk?) cloth with lining of same cloth. Sides gathered at center top which is covered with large decorative button. Lining gathered into large round flat center. Attached on one side of exterior is a tiara made of gold wire and decorated with red, green, and clear white rhinestones. Curved branches of leaf-like forms with tear-shaped rhinestones attached to stems extend from center. Along base is row of clear white faceted rhinestones. Remainder of edge decorated with gold lace trim with sequins over strands of threads. Large central button made of brass in Germany. Domed above extended edge with leaf design. At center is circle with dot design Below are segmented sections resembling tortoise shell sections separated by triangular forms. Parts painted green and red.

    Round cap used by IOOF/Rebekahs, ca. 1890-1950 for unknown ceremony. Maker unknown. Made of ;white smooth and slightly shiny cloth that is gathered to point at center top. Interior lining made of white muslin type cloth and with large round interior crown cloth piece. Sides are stiff and covered with white cloth applied in slight wrapped formation. Attached to one side is tiara-like form made of gold tone wire with open triangular shapes decorated with rhinestones. Center and largest with red stones; others with clear white stones. On either side is curved section with green stones. Between and inside triangles are tear-shaped white beads with gold beads at top. Fastened from either end of tiara is strip of blue covered stiff cloth with gold metal trim attached. Trim has drawn-like design of threads pulled together at center.

Round shape, made of smooth and slightly shiny blue satin cloth that is gathered to center top. Interior lining made of green satin cloth. At center is round flat piece of cloth with manufacturer's name printed in large gold mark. Attached on one side is tiara-like attachment made of gold tone metal wire decorated with green and red rhinestones. Tiara has stepped and curved extensions on top of one another and that splay out toward sides. Loop of green stones added to center top. Along bottom edge is row of clear (white) rhinestones. Curlicues on end attached to brass band that extends around hat. One side of band has series of holes to hold button on other side of band in order to fit hat.
