    Very large anchor made of forged metal, with wooden sections. After removal from Commencement Bay, the anchor was sent to the Texas A & M University Naturical Laboratory for treatment. It was returned and put on display in the foyer of the 5th floor at the Washington State History Museum. A video showing the raising of the anchor from Commencement Bay may be viewed under "related media." Discovered and recovered by Robert Mester in Commencement Bay in 1999.
